These terms cover RentRoll, the landlord bookkeeping app. They are written in plain English for the people who keep the books.
Who operates RentRoll
RentRoll is cloud landlord bookkeeping from HawkEye Products. It is operated by HawkEye Accounting and Tax in Crestview, Florida. The public site is https://rentrollcpa.com. https://www.rentrollcpa.com is the same site. Questions about these terms: [email protected].
By creating an account or using RentRoll, you agree to these terms.
The service
RentRoll helps you keep properties, tenants, income, and expenses in one place and export bookkeeping reports. The product may be in beta. Features can change, pause, or be removed.
Pricing
The current price is $10/mo for the first property and $2/mo for each additional property. Subscriptions may be billed via Stripe when billing is connected.
Taxes may be added where required. Pricing changes will be posted on the site before they apply to a new billing period.
Your account
You are responsible for activity under your login and for keeping your password private. Passwords expire every 60 days. Give us accurate account information.
Your records
You keep ownership of the property and financial data you enter. You grant us permission to store and process that data so we can run RentRoll for you. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it.
Not advice
RentRoll is for organization and bookkeeping convenience only. It is not tax, legal, or accounting advice. Review your books with your own preparer before you file.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to access an account that is not yours, or upload unlawful content.
As-is and liability
RentRoll is provided as-is during beta, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, HawkEye Accounting and Tax and HawkEye Products are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for a claim related to RentRoll is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim.
Ending use
You may stop using RentRoll at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or that we cannot keep secure.
